Baenita completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Flinders University. Baenita is passionate about working with autistic toddlers and young children and late talkers. She has experience in areas such as Speech, Language and Social Communication needs. She has worked in both private practice and disability setting.

Baenita specialises in assessing and treating speech and language difficulties in children. Baenita has worked with Behaviour Support Practitioners, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Music Therapists providing a holistic intervention to children with delayed development.

Baenita advocates for her clients and implements individualized therapy that yields great results. She has helped hundreds of children go from non-speaking to communicating meaningfully. Her goal is to build parents’ capacity in order for them to feel confident in managing their children’s needs at home; and for her clients to “graduate” from therapy as soon as possible, feeling well equipped with skills to communicate functionally in their everyday environments.
