Dr Eugene Kua
Eugene is a general paediatrician dedicated to providing compassionate, family-centred care for children of all ages, from newborns to adolescents. He has a particular interest in managing common childhood conditions such as asthma, eczema, allergies, and sleep difficulties, as well as growth concerns, feeding challenges, constipation, and developmental delays. He also has a passion for newborn medicine having had two plus years working in NICU settings with premature babies. Eugene is dedicated to working collaboratively with families to find tailored, holistic solutions that support each child’s and family’s unique needs.
Eugene completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne, His paediatric training has taken him across Victoria, providing him with valuable experience in both general and specialist paediatric care. He has also had the privilege of working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, seen their challenges and thus is committed to providing practical and supportive solutions. Eugene is also an avid advocate for education and is currently completing a Master of Clinical Education through Flinders University, where he hopes to use acquired skills and knowledge to support and grow the next generations of healthcare workers.
Outside of work, Eugene enjoys camping, playing badminton and dabbling in arts and crafts. He has a talent for sewing fleece beanies and would be more than willing to share his creations with anyone who asks!
