Dr Victoria Heaton
Dr. Victoria Heaton is a compassionate General Paediatrician dedicated to caring for children of all ages, from newborns through to adolescents, managing a wide spectrum of acute, chronic, and common childhood conditions.
Victoria offers specialist expertise in Paediatric Rheumatology and managing persistent musculoskeletal issues. Her other clinical interest areas include newborn and infant health (including growth and feeding concerns), common conditions such as asthma (drawing on experience from a complex asthma clinic), and the management of developmental and behavioural difficulties.
Victoria is passionate about working collaboratively with children and their families to develop holistic and tailored solutions that truly work for their specific context.
In addition to her private practice, Victoria maintains strong ties to the public sector, holding locum positions at the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) within the Department of General Medicine and the Centre for Community Child Health (CCCH), and working in a community clinic in Banyule.
Victoria is a graduate of Monash University and holds a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine from James Cook University. She has a strong commitment to quality and safety, having worked in and helped develop paediatric Clinical Practice Guidelines and holds a keen interest in Quality Improvement (QI) projects.
When not working, Victoria enjoys the creative chaos of cooking with her three young children, though she admits she’s less keen on the clean-up afterwards!
