Lena completed her undergraduate studies at Monash University and holds a Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology from the University of Melbourne.
Lena specialises in comprehensive assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and cognitive and educational evaluations, including Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia. She conducts thorough assessments to better understand each individual’s unique learning profile, strengths, and areas of need.
In therapy, Lena supports individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioural challenges, and school refusal. She also works with those presenting with diverse needs, including self-harm behaviours and suicidal thoughts, providing a safe and compassionate space for intervention and ongoing support. Lena offers parenting support to help families build confidence and implement practical, evidence-informed strategies at home.
As part of her diverse skill set, Lena also works with teenagers to enhance learning performance, strengthen executive functioning skills, develop mental skills for sports performance, and support overall wellbeing.
Lena is a parent to two teenagers and one primary school-aged child. Her lived experience across varied developmental stages gives her insight into the diverse challenges families face today. Outside of work, she enjoys her coffee, watching her children play sports, and watching Netflix when her children are in bed. Some of her favourite family holiday destinations include Robe (South Australia), and Niagara Falls (Canada). Lena also enjoys watching her children play volleyball, soccer and tennis.
