Dr Ary Sudarmana

Ary is a general paediatrician and father, who enjoys caring for babies, children and adolescents in a patient-centred, friendly and caring way. Ary completed a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree following a Bachelor of Biomedicine (BBiomed) both at the University of Melbourne. His paediatric training has included experience predominantly at the Royal Children’s Hospital where he was most recently General Medicine Fellow, Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital. Ary currently holds appointments at the Royal Children’s Hospital and is a Clinical Teaching Fellow at the University of Melbourne.

Ary sees children from birth to 18 years and is happy to receive referrals for paediatric medical and developmental issues. He has a particular interest in working with patients with asthma, eczema, allergies, sleep difficulties, ex-prematurity, constipation, poor growth and developmental delays and disabilities.

Away from the clinic, Ary enjoys spending time with his wife and son, traveling, gardening and reading. Ary loves playing the piano and previously played flute in the Melbourne Youth Orchestra. He previously ran a musical production company though nowadays you are more likely to find him in the audience or the crowd at the footy supporting the Bombers.
