Raffaela is a general paediatrician who cares for children of all ages with a range of acute and chronic conditions. Her particular interests include newborn and infant health, and developmental and behavioural conditions. She brings experience from multiple clinical settings and takes a practical, thoughtful approach. She is passionate about working together with children and their families to find well rounded solutions.

Alongside her work at Caring for Kids, Raffaela holds a public appointment at Werribee Mercy Hospital, where she works in the Special Care Nursery, Paediatric ward and in a school outreach clinic. She also works in general medicine clinics at the Royal Children’s Hospital. Raffaela graduated from Monash University with honours and completed most of her specialist paediatric training through the Royal Children’s Hospital. She completed a Graduate Certificate of Clinical Education at the University of Melbourne and has a strong interest in the education of medical students and paediatric trainees.

Outside of work Raff enjoys being active, mostly by chasing after her three young children.
